I recently had a client that wanted to redesign his site so naturally I build his new site with Drupal. The site was built on my server and when I transferred it over to his server, here are the problems I ran into and how I fixed them:

Problem: PHP Global register was on
Solution: If you're on a shared server and your host will not turn this off for you, add the following link to your .htaccess file:

php_flag register_globals off

Problem: Clean URL not working! (big problem!)
Solution: Add the following links to your .htaccess file:

RewriteEngine on
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?q=$1 [L,QSA]

Those were the two main problems. I'm now having problems with updating Blocks. His server returns a Forbidden when I update any block.
